Ocean Acidification Community of Practice Co-ordinator

MEOPAR is searching for a dedicated and self-motivated individual to facilitate and co-ordinate activities for the Canadian Ocean Acidification Community of Practice. The aims of the Community are to facilitate the uptake and exchange of information and data related to ocean acidification, collate and promote best practices, use online platforms to facilitate knowledge mobilization, and disseminate activities through webinars and workshops. The co-ordinator would ideally be located at the University of Calgary. Remote work, or a posting at the St. Andrews Biological Station in New Brunswick can also be considered. The selected candidate would work closely with Community members from stakeholder groups, academia, non-profit and governance groups. This is a full-time position, funded by MEOPAR until Oct. 2022. We would very much appreciate it if you could circulate this email amongst your network to help us reach the largest pool of candidates.
